Carrying Max’s Legacy Forward

The Max Arco Mastromichalis Foundation honors the life and spirit of Max Mastromichalis, a kind, determined young man who touched everyone around him. At his core, Max was a protector—a protector of the people he loved and the people he didn’t even know.

This scholarship is awarded each year to a select number of graduating seniors at George Washington High School who reflect the qualities Max embodied — kindness, compassion, determination, discipline, humility, and heart.

Our goal is to recognize students who live with empathy, strive for growth, and make the world better simply by being themselves.

Applications are due by January 16.

Recipients will be chosen based on character, effort, and authenticity — the same qualities that made Max unforgettable.
